Date is set now going for time
Hey everybody we are going for May 27th for the time capsule retrieval. Mrs. Truman will be available so we can get in to the "Nerd Room". Ben is seeing if we could do it in the evening, but during the day would be better at this point. Ben and I are easy going with getting over there, I can even take some vacation hours if it comes to that. Nate and Ked, I need confirmation with you two as soon as possible. James I am figuring as long as you have notice you will still be good. If you have any concerns please let me know. Ben said Mrs. Truman would even be willing to spring for Pizza. Also, wives are invited so everyone knows that.

Count me in! Keep me posted with a time as the date gets nearer, I will be there with Melissa.
ReplyDeleteThe current plan is 12:30 in the Library, Mrs. Truman will invite Shelly and there will be food. Nate may not be able to make it that early, so if need be we will have a retrieval event with whomever can, and an opening event with everybody.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Truman was unsure if she'd be able to make 7:30, but it is grad nite, so getting into the school without keys may be possible. Getting into the Nerd Room would require a little extra planning after that. Plus, Mrs. Truman said that because of Grad Nite, they may have the upstairs part of the school blocked off so we'd need to bring the grappling hooks along. Only she didn't mention the grappling hooks. She said something about the elevator.
All this leaves me one question -- if it's been 10 years, and we're nearing our 30s, can we now refer to our High School teachers by their first names?
