I need a salesman
So I have been developing my skills as a programmer on iPhone OS and all that. I am pretty good at it and have some good ideas for future apps. I have a good idea of who I want to sell to, I just can’t really get myself to make the sales calls. I guess my enthusiasm and morale have dropped and I don’t know how to get past the slump. If anyone knows someone who would like to make a few extra bucks making sales calls let me know and maybe I will be able to keep programming yet.

Sales is an interesting subject. Ask someone who's been in sales for more than just a few years and they'll admit that the best sales-people are average people simply sharing something they believe in. Techniques are of little to no importance if the "salesman" has belief in what they are sharing. When you're motivated by belief in the product, you're sharing. If you're motivated by anything else, you're selling. On a scale of 1 to 10, if your belief is anything less than a 10 you need to either improve your product or find a new product. You've got to have a level 10 belief so you can represent your product with full integrity, knowing that you're not blowing any smoke. Anyone (including you) can do that if the product is good enough. :) Find people who have a need for it, show them the value, and they'll become a customer.
