Man Camp Scheduled 6/22-6/23
I think Ben called it well in the comments. For the month of June the 22-23 have been stated by everyone to be possible. I didn't get Nate's response on the poll, but we did in the comments. Now we just need to get through deciding on a location. Perhaps we should defer to one or two persons on that one. I will opt out now and just say I am happy to be along for the ride. And I may be able to borrow my moms truck if we go anywhere to hairy.

Well, I recently learned that it is legal to venture into abandoned mines if they are not posted as closed or gated...so...remember that mine, Nate? :) J/k we don't have to go there, but the first counselor in my ward wants me to take him there sometime in the summer. He's a spelunker dude and I've been missing my subterranean exploration days.
ReplyDeleteKanarraville is a good little exploration. Anything good closer to Nate? We could try an old ghost town or some places near Escalante. A slot canyon or something. I can't think of anything too amazing at the moment.

ReplyDeleteI plan to drive to Cedar Friday afternoon so we can meet up and go from there.
Any of the ideas mentioned previously sound great to me. If everyone is open to an 8 to 9 hour hike Saturday, I recommend Behunin Canyon in Zion's National Park. Read through the links below for info on this hike. If it is something you all feel comfortable doing, it is an awesome experience.

Regardless of if/what we do on Saturday, I'm looking forward to relaxing around a fire Friday night and sizzling bacon in the morning. I'm really, really excited about spending this time with you guys. :)
