Well, I'll be down for a few days. I'm still not sure exactly when. I will mostly be in Parowan at Abigail's. It is anti-climactic to go home when you're the youngest and nobody else comes home. Plus, my parents will be on a trip of their own during Christmas. I might take a small jaunt somewhere too.
Nate and I talked about getting together. If we could, that would be great. We could have a Nerd Christmas party.
It might also be good to have a meeting. Our media world is changing rapidly and I'm trying to make plans to step more into it and to start more wholesome media for those who want it. It might be kind of cool to have a "predict the future" meeting where we share ideas about the future of media and how to battle bad stuff. Just a thought. I've recently had a lot of interesting conversations with one of my professors on the subject.

Is everybody else headed south for the holidays? I think it'd be good for us all to have such a meeting.
ReplyDeleteSounds good Jane and I will be down Christmas day, and the weekend after, I am also planning to probably take Christmas eve off. I would love to meet with you guys any time I can get out of the crazy routine of my life is a welcome treat.
ReplyDeleteWell I have thought through some things and we will probably be down most of the week now I have figured how I can strategically place some vacation days and give us a week off. We could have our meeting at Chilis over a bottomless bowl of chips and salsa, or the typical visit to Denny's, but I digress, I would love to meet with you guys and I am excited for the opportunity, it might be good to prepare thoughts and if you guys have looked at your Christmas presents those might be interesting to discuss (bach I will figure out how to get you yours) have a good one guys.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be in Cedar as well, making the drive Wed night on Christmas eve. We plan to stay until Sunday night. So we'll all be there, -1. I like the idea of meeting together at a dennys or something, IF we go out. If we decide to stay in however, I'd prefer we meet at a house that has space for all of us. (Do we want to take a picture with all our families to see how the Herd has grown? Would we prefer to meet at least once as just the core 5? er 4?)
ReplyDeleteWhat about filming some funny Christmas short? with narraarration etc? Do we four/five want to go Christmas Caroling to the homes of such as Mr. Hartley, etc.? How creative can we be that weekend, yet not take too much time away from family? (I'm sure we could spend the four days we have entirely with each other, but that's not going to happen.) I propose we have a conference call, at a convenient time for all to join in and contrbiute ideas. I'll post this idea.
